The full list of the greatest corrupt world leaders has been made known.
For centuries now, numerous corrupt leaders has stolen the wealth of their countries, oppress the poor and impose a huge debt in their country.
Grand corruption, Petty corruption and Political corruption are the three types of corruption.
Below is the full list of the world’s most corrupt leaders;
1. Alberto Fujimori (Peru):
Alberto was born in the year July 28, 1938. He was the country’s president (Peru) from 28 July 1990 to 22 November 2000.
In his third term, he fled to Japan, amidst a major corruption and human rights violation scandal.
Montesinos and Fujimori, stole close to $250 million stolen and the funds have been repatriated to Peru from bank accounts in the Cayman Islands and Switzerland. There is another $380 million missing from the original amount purportedly illegally taken by both men.
2. Sani Abacha (Nigeria)
Abacha lived from September 20, 1943 to June 8, 1998.
From November 17, 1993 to June 8, 1998 when he died while in office, General Sani Abacha was the de facto president and dictator of Nigeria.
It was officially pronounced that he died of a heart attack, but rumour later spread that he was poisoned by an unknown political rival.
$7 billion was said to have been stolen by Abacha and his family from the national coffers during his time in office.
3. Mobutu Sese Seko (Zaire)
Mobutu was able to lived from October 14, 1930 to September 7, 1997.
As he was commonly known, Mobutu, was the president of Zaire (formerly Democratic Republic of the Congo) from November 24, 1965 to May 16, 1997.
He looted his country’s wealth, at an amassing amount of $4 billion fortune, during his time as president.
4. Ferdinand Marcos (Philippines)
Ferdinand was able to live from September 11, 1917 to September 28, 1989.
From December 30, 1965, until February 25, 1986, Ferdinand Emmanuel Edralin Marcos Sr. was the president of the Philippines.
His leadership was better describe as iron fist and was widely considered a kleptocrat for his ability to amass an ill-gotten fortune in excess of $10 billion.
5. Suharto (Indonesia)
June 8, 1921 to January 27, 2008 was the year Suharto was able to live here on Earth.
Suharto govern as the president of Indonesia from March 1968 until May 1998.
He amassed a total fortune between $15 and $35 billion during his nearly 33-year in power.
6. Vladimir Putin (Russia)
Putin was born on October 7, 1952.
Putin’s wealth is estimated to be more than $200 billion.
He has been accused in many corruption cases in the country.

He has been described as a dictator, as he considers the national wealth to be his possession.
