While she was still a 9-year old pupil of Greensprings school, Lekki Campus in 2015, she stunned a political gathering in Lagos when she publicly donated her welfare money popularly called pocket money to the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari’s campaign.
Nicole did so to express the trust and confidence she had in Buhari to bring Boko Haram terrorism in the country to an end. On this note, she will definitely be proud of president Buhari, following his dedication, commitment and diligence President Buhari has employed so far in tackling terrorism under his administration. His commitment could tell why the Nigerian military has recorded the huge progress it has so far in the fight against terrorism.
Recently, a report from Sahara Reporters has disclosed that the notorious leader of the Islamic State of West African Province, ISWAP, Sani Shuwaram, and other terrorists of the sect may have been killed after the Super Tucano jets (the newly acquired jet by Buhari’s government) and other aircraft of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) executed multiple bombardments in the axis where Shuwaram’s camps are located.
This is undoubtedly a big win to the Nigerian military and a huge progress in the fight against terrorism.
Aside the recent development, the 8000 Boko Haram terrorists who had so far surrendered to the Nigerian Army could be credited to his hard work and commitment in bringing terrorism to an end in Nigeria. Apparently, the 9-year old youngster who supported him in 2015 would probably be very proud of him for the good works he has done towards eliminating terrorism.
