It is no longer news that one of the notorious Eastern Security Network commander, Chinwendu Nwangwu who is also known as Onyearmy has been apprehended and paraded by the Imo State Police Command.
Onyearmy who was paraded on Wednesday was reported to be arrested at Amahohuru Nguru in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State. He was apprehended during the funeral of his late father.
The 34-year-old suspect during interrogations, Emma Powerful, Chinasa Nworu, and others as the sponsor of his group.
He confessed that he was promised 10 million naira every month by the sponsor. According to him they use to collect N3.5 million as high as N3.5 million for registration fees.
“The first money one person used to register with us is N3.5 million. And he promised that he is going to give us N10 million every month.” SaharaReporters quoted the suspect as saying in the course of the investigations.
