The embattle President of ICDA has accused a Governorship Aspirant from Kogi East, Alhaji Yakubu Muri as the Man behind the current wave of ICDA crisis.
Alhaji Sadiq said Muri had always demonstrated hatred for him because he perceived that ICDA under Sadiq will no doubt support Chief Edward Onoja for 2023 election.
Alhaji Amodu Abubakar Sadiq further explained that immediately after the enthronement of HRM, the Atta Igala, Mathew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche, the next thing was a gesture by Muri to paint Igala Unity House, Anyigba without the consent of the leadership of ICDA and attempt by ICDA to meet him he locked up.”
It’s amazing that such person that would want to divide his people or fuel crisis in his fatherland is clamouring to lead the State” .
He however used this medium to advice the aspirant to face his party delegates and stop distracting Igala Communities with campaign movement, saying that the next Governor of Kogi State has not yet indicated interest.
Sadiq said, with or without ICDA, he has raised the structure across ethnic divides in Kogi State that will produce the next Governor of Kogi State by the special grace of God Almighty.
While answering a question whether he will work for Edward Onoja in the forthcoming Governorship Election; Sadiq said His Excellency Edward Onoja is not contesting for the Governor of Kogi State as much as I know and we don’t have such political bond as perceived at some quarters.
