A hoodlum identified as Ojochenemi Atidoga who tried to disrupt the peaceful election at the Open Space University Village polling unit in Anyigba, Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State, has reportedly been stabbed to death by soldiers on duty.

It was gathered that the hoodlum forced non-supporters of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) to flee the polling unit after he threatened to kill anyone who voted for another party besides the APC.

However, the unscrupulous element met his sad end after soldiers on duty apprehended him, beat him up, stabbed him on his lap, and allowed him to bleed to death. After the death of the hoodlum, commercial motorcyclists believed to be his fellow thugs stormed the polling unit, caused chaos, and then fled with the corpse of the deceased to an unknown location.

Recall that President Muhammadu Buhari earlier warned mischief-makers that violence and other forms of intimidation would not be allowed during this election.
