The presidential election petition tribunal hearing won’t start for a while. However, as the attorneys exchange court documents, a greater frenzy is growing behind the scenes.

In the week that has followed the very difficult vote, the leading candidates, Peter Obi of the Labour Party and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, have been working arduously to reverse Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress’ victory.
The masses of Labour Party supporters, sometimes referred to as Obidients, have repeatedly claimed that the party was cheated out of the presidential contest and that their chosen candidate, Peter Obi, earned the majority of the lawful votes cast.
To address INEC’s initial worries, Obi asserts that “He will show that the failure to upload the presidential election results through the Results Verifying Portal using the BVAS as required by Law was a plot by INEC to manipulate the actual results of the election.”
