Victor Osimhen has been nominated alongside Mohamed Salah and Riyad Mahrez for the Ghana Football Awards.
The three shortlisted players were posted on the Ghana Football Awards Twitter handle.
Osimhen will battle with Salah and Mahrez in the Best African International category.
Osimhen helped Napoli win the 2022/23 Serie A title, their first since 1990.
The Super Eagles striker scored 26 goals in the Italian topflight to become the first-ever African to achieve the feat.
Also, he was named Serie A Best Striker for the just concluded campaign.
Algerian captain Mahrez is on the verge of winning the treble with Manchester City.
Mahrez has scored 15 goals, made 13 assists in 47 appearances in all competitions for Premier League and FA Cup champions City.
While Pharoahs of Egypt star Salah, netted 30 goals, provided 16 assists in 51 games for Liverpool.
