ODA President said ” allowing the people of Kogi East to fight this battle alone will result to power pinned down in view of their experience in the last eight years”. He said consultations have been ongoing with political elites and opinion molders for effective take off of the MOU.
He said his efforts in the recent time was to come up with a Consensus Candidate among contestants from Kogi West like it is notably done in the East but it could not work and supposed block votes that could be used for negotiation will now be shared between the three contestants from Kogi West, hence the need for this proposed peaceful alliance for posterity.
“Everyone in Kogi State is clamoring for positive change but if care is not taken, we may still work in favor of our common enemy”
