The Secretary to Idah Local Government Council who doubles as Chairman of Forum of Secretaries in Kogi State, Alhaji Alhaji has hailed Kogi Governor on the distribution of palliatives to the members of his local government area.

He made the statement in his office at Idah on Sunday, 19th May, 2024 shortly after the Council Chairman, Hon Egwuda Ochijenu presided over the distribution of the palliatives.

Alhaji said of Ododo ” His empathy towards the people of the state is legendary to the point of sacrificing his all to ensuring he puts smile on the faces of the good people of the state.”

He continued “We have never seen this real good. His Excellency is fanatically committed to improving the lives of the people through provision of food in the midst of the current economic crunch, provision of infrastructure across the state and regular payments of salaries and pensions and most importantly, improving the security architecture of the state thereby making it extremely difficult for crimes and criminalities to thrive.

“Your Excellency Sir, you deserve all the accolades as the good people of Idah local government area are very appreciative of your governance style which is people’s oriented and service to humanity.”

I also wish to commend my untiring and indefatigable Chairman, Hon Egwuda Ochijenu whose passion for rapid growth and development of the area is yielding results.

My appreciation also goes to the Hon. Commissioner, Humanitarian services, Hajia Rabi Okute and the State House Of Assembly member, representing the good people of Idah local government area, Hon Halidu Usman for their commitment to the full implementation of the government policies aimed at alleviating poverty and empowerment of artisans, farmers and traders in the area.
