The Kogi State House of Assembly has asked the State Government to sack a member of the State Independent Electoral Commisshosion, MR. Emmanuel Funsho over political partisanship and financial misconduct.
The resolution of the house followed the adoption of the report by the House Committee on Public Petition, Human Rights, Judiciary and Legal Matters on a petition forwarded against the accused by one Mr. Michael Shaiye.
Shaiye had alleged that Funsho engaged in gross misconduct during a recent agriculture loan for farmers in Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area.
Presenting the reports after investigation, the Chairman of the House Committee, Alhaji Suleiman Attajachi said it was discovered that the accused belonged to the ruling All Progressives Congress
