Comedy Country Called Nigeria: Picture Of Houses Donated To 1994 Super Eagles Players Surface – Ighalo React

Former Manchester United striker, Odion Ighalo has reacted after pictures of the houses the Federal Government allocated to some of the 1994 Super Eagles players surfaced online.

WEEKDAYS had earlier reporteded that the Federal Government in 14th of March, 2022 allocated houses to the Super Eagles team that emerged victorious in the 1994 African Cup of Nations.

The Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola who represented President Muhammadu Buhari in the presentation of the house said they can pick up keys to the house in their preferred states.

Aregbesola commissioned the Housing Project under the National Housing Programme (NHP) Phase 1 in Abere, Osun State.

The photos of the house which surfaced online show that some players were allocated houses in Imo.

One of the houses spotted in the trending picture had the name Emmanuel Amunike written on it.

Ighalo while reacting to a picture of the house, described Nigeria as a comedy country, while Nigerian player Haruna Garba praised the federal government for delivering their promises even though the houses are substandard.
