The Presidential Candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has slammed the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, referring to the opposition as “Poverty Development Party.”
While speaking, the APC presidential candidate wondered why the party still exist today, making it known that the PDP spent 16 good years in power and forgot about railway, infrastructure and other things.
Bola Tinubu reportedly made this disclosure yesterday, September 3, at the unveiling of the Tinubu/Shettima door-to-door campaign group in Abuja, the nation’s capital, Legit.ng reported. He also mocked the PDP due to the crisis going on within the party.
The former Lagos State governor said: “They (PDP) got there and turned it to an incubator. I wonder why they still exist as a party. These are people still fighting for leadership of their party, looking for the direction of the compass. We are not equal at all; we are smarter. We know the road; let them follow. We don’t need to worry about PDP, poverty development party.”
He went on urged the the APC members to lower their temperature for now, making it known that it is not the time to campaign yet. In addition, he stated it clearly that the PDP will hear a lot from them.
