A former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, Pastor Reno Omokri, has said that only the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, can be compared with Argentina footballer, Lionel Messi.

Omokri also said that, just like Messi plans and scores goals, so does Atiku equally sets and achieves goals. He said Atiku sets goals in form of creating wealth for Nigerians by employing millions of jobless Nigerians and increasing development in the country through his investments.
The bestselling author said this in his 70th blurb about why he believes Atiku Abubakar is the best candidate for Nigerians. According to him, other presidential candidates cannot stand on par with Atiku to measure up against the parallel achievements of Messi in football.
PDP campaign council: No presidential candidate will defeat Atiku in south-east
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential campaign council (PCC) says Atiku Abubakar will get more votes in the southeast geopolitical zone than any other candidate.

Charles Aniagwu, the spokesperson of the party’s PCC, spoke on Sunday in an interview with Arise Television. Aniagwu said the people in the southeast trust Abubakar to tackle the challenges confronting the geopolitical zone.
“Atiku will win the votes of the south-east because the people believe that he can be able to bring a number of the things that they are asking for at the moment and that indeed he will become a stepping stone for our brothers and sisters in the south-east to be able to clinch the number one position in the country,” he said.
