Kaduna State governor, Uba Sani, has revealed that he spoke with President Bola Tinubu up to seven times over the abduction of 287 school children and teachers of Government Secondary and LEA primary schools, Kuriga community in Chikun local government area of the state.
Governor Sani made this when Vice President Kashim Shettima visited Kaduna on Saturday:”I thank Mr. President for his show of sympathy, solidarity and support. Since the unfortunate abduction of the Kuriga school children, I have spoken with Mr. President up to seven times. Mr. President is not only worried, he vowed not to rest on his oars until the Kuriga school children return safely to their parents. I also thank Mr. Vice President for always identifying with our state and people, and never hesitating in coming to our aid”
“I had the privilege of receiving in audience the Vice President, His Excellency, Kashim Shettima, GCON, who came to Sir Kashim Ibrahim House at the behest of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR to commiserate with the government and people of Kaduna State over the abduction of school children in Kuriga Community, Chikun Local Government of Kaduna State” the governor said.
